All comrades enjoyed a hot time at CAS's Russian Nights event during this cold February. We had a very successful Russian Nights dinner last evening. Fifty-seven paying guests were in attendance and our net was $2,295.86. This is an increase of $525 over last year's Chinese Lunar New Year event. |

Trains on Main 2009 |

The Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce's "Trains on Main" Holiday Festival kicked off with a Ho, Ho, Ho and a Chug, Chug, Chug at the CAS Arts Center. Trains were located in many of the Main Street businesses, with the largest at CAS (8'x17'). There were local artistic venders and the Mountain Tones provided live festive music. Hundreds of the local and not so local community members have visited our facilities to see the Members' Show and train layout. |

| JEFF BANK 2010 CALENDAR RECEPTION HOSTED AT CAS Jeff Bank and CAS held a photo contest earlier this year and selected 13 entries to be featured in the Jeff Bank 2010 Photo Calendar. October 9 CAS held a reception to display the winning photographs. The photographers were on hand, and light refreshments were thoroughly enjoyed by the public. The calendars will be available at CAS and all Jeff Banks for a suggested $5 donation benefiting CAS. The ten winning photographers are: Linda J. Wilkinson; James Carney; Wesley H. Wood; Stephen J. Davis; Kit Jones; Virginia Sanborn; Charles Rehm; Holly Miller-Pollack; Judith Meyerowitz; and Ted Pilonero. |

ART a la CARTE in the CATSKILLS |

Art a la Carte is a multi-gallery event offered by nine galleries and art organizations in Sullivan County. It features a map for a self-guided tour for a rich diversity of visual art for the cultural gourmet; and for the gastronomical gourmet, there are restaurants for every taste in the vicinity of each gallery. Art a la Carte is offering free special exhibitions, programs and events from May through December, to enhance the gallery tours. Each gallery has selected one month during the year to schedule a special Art a la Carte event. For other events, check the individual gallery websites.
