GUITARFEST Concert: Coyote Anderson Quartet

  • Laundry King 65 Main Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758

The Coyote Anderson Quartet rocks the Laundry King with selections from their newest album Innervoices. This new modern-jazz group that performs primarily the original compositions of guitarist Coyote Anderson, a Sullivan County native who won Honorable Mention in the 2014 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer’s Awards and is a regular member of the BMI Jazz Composer’s Workshop. Joining him are Corina Hernandez on vocals, Carl Limbacher on bass, and Diego Maldonado on drums.

Innervoices, released in conjunction with Canopy Jazz, is the Quartet’s first official release as a leader and the debut of this fantastic band. Through the Quartet’s incorporation of vocals, poetry & electronics into arrangements, Coyote’s compositions have become fully-realized in a form that has been described as “...pure musical genius.”

GUITARFEST is a month-long festival of diverse musical stylings, presented by the Catskill Art Society. From blues to metal, country to jazz... if it features a guitar, you'll find it in store at GUITARFEST. This concert series is made possible in part with funding from a Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grant funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
