As we do not have a permanent collection, CAS cannot accept submissions of artwork outside of the opportunities outlined here.

Jeff Bank 2018 Calendar Photo Contest
Photographers are encouraged to submit up to four (4) color images for the Jeff Bank 2018 Calendar Photo Contest. Organized by the Catskill Art Society, the theme of the contest is the Four Seasons of Nature and Landscapes in Sullivan County, NY and Orange County, NY. Recognizable locations are preferred, but not mandatory.
All entries must include a completed application form (also available at all Jeff Bank branches and the CAS Arts Center); a CD, flash drive, or email with a maximum of four high-res images in digital, horizontal JPG format (at least 2,000 by 3,000 pixels); and a signed photo release. There is a contest entry fee of $5 payable to CAS.
This initiative is an ongoing partnership between CAS and Jeff Bank, started in 2009 to support the local arts community and to give talented photographers a venue to share their work with the public.

Submissions for the 2017 Elevator Gallery exhibition season are closed as of December 1.
The Elevator Gallery is an experimental exhibition space that features small works, installations, short art films, and other visual curiosities in up to eight shows each year.
At about 6' by 13', the space will eventually make way for an elevator to our second floor when renovations are finished to create even more room for arts and culture at CAS—hence the name. But on another level, the gallery seeks to elevate the profile of alternative artists and styles not frequently seen in the CAS Exhibition Season.
Submit a proposal to CAS explaining how you would like to use the gallery along with up to 10 images of your artwork. Artists will not only be selected by the quality of their work, but also how they re-envision the space in exciting, innovative ways. Click here to see a floor plan schematic of the Elevator Gallery.

CAS schedules concerts, plays, dance, film screenings, book and poetry readings, puppet shows, and more year-round. Many factors are considered when scheduling these programs, including prior bookings for CAS and partner organizations, technical needs, cost, and audience appeal.
All prospective performing artists and groups must submit proposals, including CV and work samples, to the Executive Director. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CLASS + LECTURE SUBMISSIONS
CAS schedules classes, lectures, and outreach initiatives led by a roster of master teachers. We accept teaching artist proposals that fit our organization's mission, add diversity to our slate, appeal to new and core audiences, and are led by high-quality educators who can manage students independently.
All teaching artists must submit proposals, including outlined lesson plans, clear target audiences/age groups, CV and work samples that show subject mastery and teaching experience, to the Executive Director. For more information, contact us at email@example.com.
